Pep Guardiola‘s men will be keen to tighten their grip on the famous old trophy following last season’s triumphant 6-0 win over Watford in the final.
But the players know that passage into Round Four is far from a foregone conclusion, and training hit a high intensity from the get go.
At the same time, however, there is always time for some fun and games, and the team were all in high spirits throughout the session at the sunny CFA.

Saturday’s clash with the Valiants represents our first meeting with the League Two side in over twenty years.
And just like that last meeting in October 1999, here’s hoping for a City win!
