Hat-trick king: Aguero's deadly dozen

Sergio Aguero carved his name into Premier League history once more on Sunday as City’s striker supreme secured two more incredible landmarks.

First, he overhauled Thierry Henry to become the league’s leading all-time overseas scorer when scoring his second goal in our 6-1 triumph at Aston Villa.

Then, as he sealed the deal by completing his hat-trick, Aguero became the Premier League’s leading scorer of hat-tricks.

It was his 12th league treble in total and took the Argentine clear of Alan Shearer with whom he had shared the hat-trick record for the past 11 months.
