Manchester City Women will look to kick-start their season on Sunday with an FA Women’s Cup triumph over Chelsea Ladies.

The Blues, having lost both of their FA Women’s Super League games without scoring a goal, face the London outfit in the quarter-finals of the competition, which is one of three tournaments Nick Cushing’s side are involved in this season.

As a clash between two FA WSL sides, the Blues will be anticipating a tough test and will go into the game in the knowledge that the winner of the tie will face either Birmingham City Ladies or Arsenal Ladies in the semi-finals.

To get to this stage, City narrowly defeated Reading Women in the Fifth Round with a double from Toni Duggan. Chelsea needed an extra-time goal from Rachel Williams to progress, after their clash with Bristol Academy ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
