Six of City's Women's team have been called up to represent England next month.

Steph Houghton, Karen Bardsley, Jill Scott and Toni Duggan have all been named in Mark Sampson’s squad for the 2014 Cyprus Cup tournament.

England, who are the current holders of the trophy, are in Group A, along with Italy, Finland and last year’s runners-up Canada.

The Three Lions kick-off the competition against Italy on 5 March, before locking horns with Finland on 7 March and Canada three days later.

Blues midfielder Isobel Christiansen has also been selected for the under-23 squad which will travel to Spain for the La Manga tournament.

The trip presents Christiansen’s third visit to the Spanish resort this year and will see the Young Lions face Sweden, Germany and Japan between 1 and 5 March.

Youngster Natasha Flint will also take part in the under-19s La Manga tournament for England, who play Ireland, France and Italy between 8 and 12 March.
