Manchester City Women return to league action on Sunday with a trip to Arsenal Ladies.

Following three consecutive games in the Continental Cup, the Blues travel to Meadow Park looking to register their first points in the FA Women’s Super League.

So far in the division, Nick Cushing’s side have suffered defeats at the hands of reigning champions Liverpool and last season’s runners-up Bristol Academy.

Having played the same amount of games, Arsenal lie just a point ahead of MCWFC and the Blues will be hoping to leapfrog their opponents into a mid-table spot.

City go into game off the back of an impressive 2-1 win over Liverpool whereas the Gunners lost out 2-0 to Reading in their last match.

Blues’ captain Steph Houghton will face her former club for the first time since leaving the Gunners.

Kick-off is at 14:00 BST on Sunday 18 May at Meadow Park, Boreham Wood, Herts WD6 5AL. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.

If you can’t make it though, we’ll have live updates on Twitter as well as a full match report on mcfc.co.uk after full-time.
