Nikita Parris says she has no preference as to who City are drawn against in the FA Cup semi-finals.

The Blues reached the last four of the competition with a 2-0 win over Sporting Club Albion at the Academy Stadium, with the striker opening the scoring.

Last season’s top four in the Super League have all made the semis, but Parris insists City do not fear anyone.

“We don’t mind who we get,” she told mcfc.co.uk. “The team are playing well - we’ve won all of our games and conceded none so we’re ready for anyone.

“We’re all feeling really happy and confident and we fancy our chances against anyone.”

Parris was at the heart of the Blues’ best attacking moves in Sunday’s quarter-final clash.

In addition to breaking the deadlock, she caused havoc throughout and played a key role in Jane Ross’ goal, striking the effort which Rebecca Thomas parried into her teammate’s path.

Reflecting on her display, she smiled: “I’m absolutely buzzing with the win, the goal and the assist - it’s definitely an assist!

“I always want to get on the ball, create chances and of course, score. I’m happy I did that but the main aim was to get through to the semi-finals and we did - that’s the most important thing.

“We’re delighted with our 100% record, especially as we’ve kept clean sheets. That’s brilliant for the goalkeepers and we’re all pleased about it.

“Now we can look forward to the draw. Bring it on!”

The draw for the FA Women’s Cup semi-finals will take place on Tuesday 5 April at 1:30pm BST. Stay tuned to @MCWFC Twitter to find out the result...
