Manchester City Women will kick off their 2016 FA Women’s Super League campaign with a home game against Notts County on 23 March, 7pm kick off (GMT).

2-1 win against the Lady Pies in front of a record crowd of 3,180 to secure a place in the 2016/17 UEFA Women’s Champions League.

City’s debut campaign in Europe’s premier club competition will start in the Round of 32, with the first leg being played on 5/6 October and the second leg a week later on 12/13 October.

The opening day fixture is quickly followed with a home tie against Arsenal on 28 March, which will be shown on BT Sport, before the first away trip of the season on 24 April against Birmingham.

Reading and Doncaster are the new additions to FAWSL 1 for the 2016 season and City will square off against the latter at the Academy Stadium on 1 May.

Further away ties against Chelsea and Liverpool, 19 May and 25 May respectively, follow before the mid-season break kicks in.

The reverse fixture against the Reds will be the first after the break on 26 June.

City’s final away fixture will take place on 11 September at Arsenal before the season is wrapped up with home fixtures against Chelsea (25 September) and Birmingham (30 October).

Cushing’s side enter the FA Cup at the Fifth Round this season and that game will take place on the 20 March, with the opposition TBC.

The Continental Cup has a new format for 2016 and the competition will commence on the weekend of 2/3 July.
