Manchester City Women are calling on the support of fans for one final time in 2016 as they look to continue their incredible form this season.

The Blues face Brondby in the first leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League last 16 tie on Wednesday 9 November (kick off 7pm), for what will be their last home game of the year.

A competent 2-0 victory over Zvezda in the previous round gave Academy Stadium’s backing once again.

The unwavering and vociferous support from City fans has been a prominent feature of the double-winning season and will have a huge part to play as the FA WSL champions look to ensure this fairy tale campaign continues.

Manager Cushing is delighted to be able to count on the brilliant support and has acknowledged the impact of the crowd numerous times this season.

“Home advantage has always been massive for us because of the stadium we play at and because of the fans that come and watch us,” he said.

“We’ve got unbelievable facilities and an exceptional set of fans that push us over the line when needed.”
