4,096 fans in attendance.
Speaking to ManCity.com, Scott said: “It’s been an amazing season.
“The fans have been brilliant and the girls have made so many sacrifices to make sure we won this today. What a fantastic day.”
She continued: “I can’t put it into words. Personally, I’ve tried to win this thing for the past 14 years so today is very special.
“I’d like to say a massive thank you to this club for allowing us the opportunity to play for this badge.
“It’s been a long journey over three years but it’s fantastic to finally win this trophy.”
Celebrations will have to be brief though as attention turns to the Continental Tyres Cup final on Sunday 2 October and Scott is hoping for another bumper crowd to cheer them onto victory.
“Without the fans, we couldn’t have earned the result we did and we urge them to come along to the cup final on Sunday and, hopefully, cheer us on to another trophy.
“We’ll prepare this week and go again – we’ve got a fantastic attitude; we’re a group of professional players and staff. We’ll go again on Sunday.”
