Manchester City Women will kick off the defence of their FA WSL title against last season’s WSL 2 winners, Yeovil Town.

The Blues will travel to Huish Park on Sunday 24 September to face the newly promoted outfit in what is their first ever game in the WSL 1.

One week later fans will have the opportunity to see City at home for the first time and what a game it could prove to be, with Arsenal – who finished third last season – travelling to the Academy Stadium on Sunday 1 October.

A trip to another newly promoted side, Everton, follows (7 October) before a two week break in league action, after which City will face 2016 Continental Cup finalists, Birmingham, at home on Sunday 29 October.

Other notable fixtures include the final game before the Christmas period, at Chelsea’s Kingsmeadow (9 December), with last season’s runners up making the journey north on Wednesday 28 March for the return game.

Reading are the Club’s first opponents of the new year, with an away day scheduled in for 7 January, while February presents tests in the form of Liverpool at home (11th) and Birmingham away (21st).

As the season reaches its finale, City must visit the Reds (21 April) and Arsenal (13 May) before the campaign concludes in front of a home crowd, with Everton coming to the Academy Stadium on Sunday 20 May.
