The Blues welcome the seven-time German title winners, who have won the Champions League a record-breaking four times, to the Academy Stadium in preparation for their own European quarter-final ties against Fortuna Hjorring at the end of March.
The clash marks the first time supporters can see the 2016 league and cup double winners in action this year, and welcome new recruit Melissa Lawley.
With a trip to 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam this weekend, manager Nick Cushing is pleased to be able to test his side against established, top quality opposition in preseason.
“We have little experience in Europe,” he stated. “If we can prepare in the best way, we have a chance.
“The standard of our opposition [in these friendly games] will challenge the team and give us more experience.
“These games are essential.”
