Striker Toni Duggan has joined Barcelona on a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old, who moved to City from Everton in November 2013, has played a key role in the Blues’ many successes, from their first Continental Tyres Cup triumph in 2014 to their incredible three-trophy haul between September 2016 and May 2017.

England forward Duggan also helped the Blues to the semi-finals of the Champions League in their inaugural season in the competition, scoring a crucial wondergoal in the last 16 tie at Brondby, which went on to win the Club’s Nissan Goal of the Season award.

The striker made 74 appearances during her stay in Manchester, scoring 31 goals.

She completed her first season as the Club’s top scorer, memorably scoring the winner in the 2014 Continental Tyres Cup semi-final and netting a stunning volley on the final day of the Super League season.

The following year, she scored nine to help the Lionesses secured a bronze medal.

Six more goals would follow in 2016, as City claimed a league and cup double. Duggan famously converted a penalty to hand the Blues the title against reigning champions Chelsea.

She scored four in the Spring Series campaign – including a hat-trick at Bristol – and created an assist in the FA Cup final win over Birmingham at Wembley.

All at Manchester City thank Toni for her contribution over the past three years and wish her the best of luck with her new experience.
