The Blues finished the tournament in second place, behind winners Chelsea on goal difference, in what proved to be a hectic period for the Club.
Nick Cushing’s side juggled the competition with FA Cup and Champions League exploits but managed to win six of their eight Spring Series games, pushing the title race to the wire.
Scott asserts her side have coped admirably with their schedule.
“We’ve shown great character and spirit,” she declared, “but we fell a little bit short.
“Congratulations to Chelsea for winning it.
“It was a very short tournament but we wanted to win – every game we go into, we want to win.”
Scott completed a fine individual campaign by netting in the final day win over Liverpool.
Reflecting on her personal displays, which have helped City to three trophies in the past eight months, she expressed her delight.
The midfielder is one of 12 Blues to be jetting off to this summer’s European Championships and is pleased to be heading to Holland in fine form.
“Overall, I’m happy,” she continued. “I set a target to score more goals and I feel I’ve done that.
“That was one thing achieved.
“Now, it’s time to rest up before the internationals over the summer.
“It’s been tiring [over the past few months] – we’ve had a lot of games – but it’s about how we manage ourselves now, going into the tournament.
“I’m very excited. To be selected to represent your country for a major tournament is a fantastic achievement.”
Asked of her predictions for the Euros, Scott replied: “You don’t want to be in it if you’re not a winner!
“We’ll go there to win. We’ve got a group of individuals that are very competitive and staff that want to win tings.
“It will certainly be a journey and it’s one I’m excited to go on.
“Hopefully, we can go there and do England proud.”
With Chelsea claiming the Spring Series, Scott believes City will have extra motivation when the domestic season kicks off again in autumn.
“We’re excited to get refreshed and play again with this squad next season,” she added.
“It’s exciting how much talent we’ve got within this team.
“We have time to reflect and look at areas that perhaps are not perfect.
“We have to keep working hard and striving to be better, which is what we do everyday.
“We’ve shown that we can be better in some areas and we’ll come back stronger.
“You don’t have many opportunities to reflect as a footballer because it’s a case of always looking ahead to the next challenge but my time with City has been brilliant.
“It couldn’t have gone any better and Nick [Cushing] will be very pleased with what we’ve achieved.
“We set out with what was only a dream three or four years ago and we have achieved a lot of things.
“The FA Cup in particular for me was a fantastic achievement and one I’ll never forget.
“It’s been an honour to have had those moments with City.”
