The Blues travel to Adams Park to face Arsenal Ladies on Wednesday 14 March, kick-off 7pm (GMT).
Our centre-back knows only too well what it’s like to be on the other side, having not only played for Arsenal for four years but also playing under Gunners coach Joe Montemurro while on loan at Melbourne City.
“I think because it’s been a few years I just feel like a City player now,” the defender explained to ManCity.com. “Everyone always has their previous clubs but for me Wednesday is just another game but obviously it’s a final so it’s even bigger.
“I try to look at it as any other opposition and not make it too personal because once you bring emotions into it then you can put yourself in a bit of a tricky situation.”

On Arsenal’s style of play, Beattie added: “Arsenal have always been a very technical team and still are now. Especially with Joe Montemurro as well - he’s incredibly technical and loves playing the nice style of football.
“The Gunners are having a good season so far and we are expecting a very tough game, but that’s what happens when you play a top team.
“You get used to having friends in the opposition and coaches that you’ve worked with before, whether you go abroad or play in England.
“I won’t be thinking about how I’ve worked with Joe, but I’ll be very happy to shake his hand at the end whatever happens.
“He’s a good guy and I’m happy for him being at Arsenal.”
City had a remarkable winning streak in the first half of the season which came to an end following draws to Chelsea – home and away – as well as a defeat to Birmingham City Ladies. But the Scottish international is keen for City to get back to their winning ways.
“We had a really good streak at the start of the season and there were a couple of disappointing games and performances that we aren’t happy with,” Jen stated. “That’s the best thing about having games thick and fast as the attention moves on quickly.
“All of the girls aren’t happy with how we’ve been playing the past few games but we are ready to put that right in the final.”
