With the season done and dusted, we analyse the numbers behind City’s 2017/18 women’s campaign…

The Blues claimed a top-two spot in the Super League for the third successive year, finishing a point above Arsenal to secure Champions League qualification.

Nick Cushing’s side also reached the Continental Tyres Cup final, plus the FA Cup and European semi-finals.

City completed the 18-match WSL 1 season as the league’s all-time top scorers with 51, beating Liverpool’s previous tally of 46 over 13 games.

Nikita Parris became the Blues’ all-time top goalscorer with an unsurpassed 18 goals in all competitions this campaign, lifting her City career total to 38 in 97 appearances. She finished the season second in the WSL 1’s scoring charts with 11.
