The forward - City’s all-time record female goalscorer - has been nominated for the second month running, having continued her excellent goalscoring form with five goals in as many games.
Having completed the 2017/18 season as the Club’s top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions, Parris has continued to flourish, tallying 20 goals in 23 games in all competitions for 2018/19, including a crucial brace in the Continental Cup semi-final win at Chelsea.

The fourth Blue to make her 100th appearance for Nick Cushing’s side, the 24-year-old has bagged 58 goals in 121 appearances, since joining on loan from Everton in January 2015. The move was made permanent a year later.
City’s remarkable unbeaten domestic run has continued into February, with the Blues tallying five victories and a draw over another successful month. The Blues are the only top-flight side to remain undefeated and currently sit top of the FA WSL 1, with Parris playing a key part.
Speedy, passionate and clinical, she is one of the first names on Cushing’s squad list and is also earning deserved acclaim on the international stage. Since making her senior Lionesses debut (and providing an assist) against Serbia in June 2016, Parris has clocked 20 caps, netting nine goals.
The award heralds more good news for the Club, as Georgia Stanway was named December’s FA WSL Player of the Month, while Stanway and Ellie Roebuck were nominated for the PFA Player of the Month gong and Cushing received the league’s Manager of the Month.
To vote for Nikita, enter the FA WSL’s Twitter poll before 5pm on Saturday 2 March.
Congratulations, Keets!
