Manchester City have drawn Chelsea Women in the FA Women's Cup semi-finals.

Today’s draw, which was made live on BBC Breakfast, means we will lock horns with Emma Hayes’ side for the fifth time in the competition - and the fourth at the semi-final stage - with Nick Cushing’s side enjoying home advantage.

Though Chelsea, the current Cup holders, have emerged victorious from all four FA Cup clashes with City to date and won last season’s semi-final encounter 2-0, the Blues have fared better in our Continental Tyres Cup meetings with the Londoners - most recently, winning 2-0 at Kingsmeadow in the semi-finals earlier this year en route to our final triumph over Arsenal.

This season’s league encounters with Chelsea have both ended in draws - 0-0 and 2-2.

City lifted the FA Cup with a stunning 4-1 win over Birmingham at Wembley in May 2017 and we sealed our place in this season’s last four thanks to a fine 3-0 quarter-final victory over Liverpool yesterday.

The winner of the semi-final tie will face Reading Women or West Ham United Women who meet in the other last four clash.

The game will take place on Sunday, 14 April, with a 3.30pm kick-off.
