Manchester City can confirm Nikita Parris has joined French club Lyon.

The Liverpool-born striker started her professional career with Everton before moving to City on loan in January 2015, making the move permanent a year later.

In total, Parris, chalked up 127 appearances for City, scoring 62 goals for the Club.

The striker helped Nick Cushing’s side to two FA Cups, two Continental Cups, a league title and two Champions League semi-finals.

Parris was also voted the 2019 Football Writers’ Association Women’s Player of the Year.

Parris made her senior England debut in June 2016 while at City. She is now an established regular in Phil Neville’s Lionesses squad, having so far won 32 senior caps and she has been selected for the 2019 Women’s World Cup.
