Georgia Stanway says she is hoping to end the current season firing on all cylinders.

The England forward has had a stop-start campaign with injuries restricting her to just 11 appearances so far.

But she is fit again and champing at the bit to end 2019/20 on a high.

“For me personally, this season has been a bit rocky,” said Stanway.

“At the start of the season, I was unlucky to get injured. I was in and out if the team.

“When you’re injured, it knocks you back a bit and other players have been in form.

“I have absolutely nothing to complain about because people have been playing out of their skin, putting the ball in the back of the net.

“I can only sit back and admire that!

“I have to focus on what I’ve got to do in training. Then, when I’m given the opportunity, I have to go out there and show what I can do.

I’ve been here for four years so I think people know what I’m capable of, and if I’m given the opportunity, I’d like to think I can do that.”
