Lightning and lifting in Toulouse

The Blues kicked-off their pre-season with a friendly against Frankfurt at the weekend and preparations have stepped up with the domestic treble winners heading abroad.

Taking place over three days between 25 and 27 August, the TILC tournament will feature some of the top teams in the European women’s game: City, Lyon, Montpellier and Liverpool.

City arrived in France on Tuesday morning and headed out for their third session together on Thursday ahead of the 2017/18 season..

The work-out focused on speed and strength, whilst there was also some target practice.
