With 19 goals in our last five games, City’s women’s first team have had no problem hitting the back of the net.
Nick Cushing’s side have been racking up the goals in recent weeks, but target practice was still the order of the day when they visited Whistle Punks Urban Axe Throwing in Manchester city centre.

For the free scoring Pauline Bremer and Janine Beckie, it was a chance to see if their throwing accuracy matched their sharpshooting, though they faced stern competition from the goalkeeping trio of Karen Bardsley, Karima Benameur and Ellie Roebuck.
