City return to Continental Cup action on Wednesday night, continuing our defence of the trophy with a tricky trip to Sheffield United Women.

Nick Cushing‘s side face the Championship high-flyers in a 7:30pm kick-off at Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium, looking to reach the semi-finals.

The holders have enjoyed an excellent start to 2020, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 and Everton 3-1 in the FA Women’s Super League and will hope to take that fine form across the Pennines.

In preparation, the team trained at the City Football Academy on a rainy Tuesday.
