The pair go head-to-head at Leigh Sports Village at 12:45pm GMT, having both registered a win apiece in 2019’s previous encounters.

United currently hold the bragging rights, following October’s 2-0 win, after Caroline Weir‘s wonderstrike had secured all three points at the Etihad Stadium in September.

FA Cup holders City will look to continue our defence of the trophy with a victory to kick-off manager Nick Cushing‘s final week in charge on a positive note, before he leaves for pastures new as Assistant Manager of New York City FC.

In preparation for the mouth-watering clash, City trained at the City Football Academy on Friday.
