The long-awaited return of the Women’s Super League is almost upon us.

Manchester City take on Tottenham Hotspur following a three-week festive break knowing a win could see them reach the league summit if other results work in their favour.

Nick Cushing’s side go into 2020 fighting for silverware on three fronts, with sights set on retaining the Continental Cup as well as getting their hands on the FA Cup and the Super League title.

And there were no signs of any lingering new year’s cobwebs, with the team dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s ahead of the trip down to the capital.

They were even joined by none other than England Women’s manager Phil Neville and his assistant Bev Priestman, who watched on from the side-lines at a sunny CFA.
