City's second goal in Saturday's 3-1 FA Cup win at Newcastle United was our 100th in 2025/26!

Coming midway through our 45th match of the campaign, Pep Guardiola’s side are now averaging almost two and a quarter goals per match across all competitions.

The majority of those have, of course, come in the Premier League, with 59 strikes in 29 outings.

Meanwhile, there have been 15 in eight Champions League matches so far while 15 have also come in the FA Cup in just three games, largely thanks to the 10-1 rout of Exeter City in the third round.

The Blues have also scored 12 times in our five matches en route to the Carabao Cup final.

Unsurprisingly, Erling Haaland has been our top scorer with 29 strikes in 39 appearances, while Phil Foden is next on 10 goals in 39 games.

Having only joined in January, Antoine Semenyo has already been prolific - netting seven times in 13 outings.

With just 40 goals conceded across all competitions, we have a positive goal difference of 61 after 45 matches.

And with at least 13 matches left in the campaign and the potential for several more than that, there’s plenty more goals to come from this side.

There’s still a way to go to match our highest scoring season, which came in 2018/19 when we netted a mammoth 169 goals in 61 matches.
