City flew out to Abu Dhabi on Thursday afternoon leaving the shivering UK behind for some winter sunshine.

The Premier League winter break (and no FA Cup replay) means the Blues could jet out to temperatures much higher than the -1 degrees Manchester Airport was registering on departure.

Pep Guardiola will have some rare quality time with his players in sunny climes before returning home early next week to prepare for the FA Cup tie away to Tottenham.
