The Belgian opened the scoring on the half-hour mark, before setting up Bernardo Silva to double the lead three minutes later.
Doku’s powerful drive then deflected off Manuel Akanji and into the net to make it 3-0, with Phil Foden then latching onto Doku’s pass to add our fourth after 64 minutes.
The electric winger went on to set up Bernardo again to make it 5-1, before Ake headed in a fantastic sixth goal of the afternoon.
The Dutch defender was delighted for his teammate and congratulated him after his Player of the Match display.
“Jeremy [Doku] was fantastic. He was brilliant. Sometimes you need individual quality to open up the game and he did that. He was fantastic,” he said.
“His personality, he works hard, he’s a good guy and he gets on with everyone.
“He’s not shy to show his abilities, he wants to take everyone on even in training. He’s so difficult to mark and he’s going to be important this season.”

Despite the commanding victory, Ake still believes that boss Pep Guardiola will find ways to improve the team.
“There’s always improvement to be made,” he declared.
“Pep [Guardiola] is never happy or settled and neither are we we have to keep going and improving.
“We expected them [Bournemouth] to play with four defenders as they have all season but they changed to five. It’s about finding the spaces.
“We love playing at home. It’s been a fortress for us here. It shows that we want to continue what we’ve been doing. Last week was a good game but the league goes on and you have to keep going and keep winning.”
