City’s trip to Villa Park was originally arranged for Saturday 17 April but was postponed after Pep Guardiola’s side reached the FA Cup semi-finals, with our last four clash against Chelsea set to take place that same weekend.

The new date for the Villa game is sandwiched between our cup tie with Chelsea, which is four days earlier, and the Carabao Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 25 April.

City beat Dean Smith’s side 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium in January, when goals from Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan settled a hard-fought contest.

The Portuguese midfielder fired into the top corner to break the deadlock 11 minutes from time, before Gundogan converted a 90th minute penalty after Matty Cash was penalised for handball.
