Bernardo Silva’s brilliant brace and Julian Alvarez’s superb late strike against Real Madrid are amongst the nominees for UEFA’s Champions League goal of the week.

Portuguese midfielder Bernardo opened the scoring in City’s brilliant 4-0 semi-final second leg win over the Spanish giants, superbly converting a superb Kevin De Bruyne assist midway through the first half at the Etihad.

And eight minutes before the break, Bernardo was on target again powering home an instinctive looping header from a deflected initial effort from Ilkay Gundogan.
