Bernardo Silva has won both the UCL Player and Goal of the Week awards.

His first goal against Real Madrid has been voted the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week

The Portuguese received a clever pass from Kevin De Bruyne in a pocket of space in the Real Madrid box before whipping a shot high to the right of Thibaut Courtois.

That put City 1-0 up and on the way to a memorable 4-0 victory that booked a Champions League final date with Inter.

Bernardo would score a second goal -  a rare header - 14 minutes later to double the Blues’ advantage.

“It’s a beautiful night for us,” said Bernardo, who was also voted Man of the Match, after the game.

His goal was one of four nominations that included team-mate Julián Álvarez, Inter’s Lautaro Martínez and Bernardo‘s second goal.

Bernardo has now also won the UCL Player of the Week award to cap a fine few days for the City crowd favourite.

Congratulations, Bernardo!
