Manchester City’s new 2020/21 PUMA Third Kit has been launched today and, with its eye-catching paisley pattern, has been largely inspired by our city’s proud musical legacy.

To help celebrate the launch of our distinctive new Third Kit, we teamed up vocalist Tom Ogden and drummer Joe Donovan from acclaimed Stockport band Blossoms, who are both huge City fans, together with iconic photographer and lifelong Blue Kevin Cummins who has captured some of the most famous images in Manchester’s musical history.

Kevin captured a series of superb atmospheric images of the Blossoms duo wearing our new Third Kit.

Commenting on the new PUMA Third Kit, Tom said: “I’ve never seen a kit like this before, it’s different and I think it’s really smart.

“Manchester is obviously proud of its music scene and it’s good to showcase that and give this kit a story behind it.”

For his part, Joe added: “There’s always been an affinity between Manchester bands and Manchester football. And after last year’s Hacienda-inspired kit it’s great to see another nod to the Manchester music scene.”
