Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden all scored one and assisted one each in a clinical display to secure a 1-4 Premier League victory over Bournemouth.

Pep Guardiola‘s men made a fast start at the Vitality Stadium and took the lead after 15 minutes, with Alvarez in the right place at the right time to poke into the roof of the net from a yard out after Haaland’s effort struck the crossbar.

The goal saw the Argentine claim his fifth Premier League goal of the campaign and his first away from the Etihad Stadium.

Shortly before the half-hour mark, Haaland doubled the lead with his 27th top-flight goal of the season, overtaking Sergio Aguero’s single-season record for the club, latching onto Foden‘s pass to tap in from inside the six yard box.

With the clock ticking towards the interval, Foden added a third, marking his 200th appearance for City by clinically finishing into the corner after a loose pass in defence by the hosts.

We kept up our attacking intent after the break and added a fourth five minutes after the restart, with a powerful Alvarez strike deflecting into the net off Chris Mepham.
