Manchester City’s defence of the Carabao Cup will begin against Bournemouth or Crystal Palace.
City enter the 2020/21 competition in the third round and have been handed a home tie against the winner of the second round clash between the Cherries and Palace.
We will face the winners of that game in the week commencing 21 September, with their second round tie scheduled to take place in the week beginning 14 September.
Pep Guardiola’s side have won the competition in each of the last three seasons, with our 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the 2019/20 final the fourth time we had lifted the trophy in five years.
