Everything you need to know about the upcoming draw for the knockout stages of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League...

City reached this stage with an eighth placed finish in the eight-game league phase, ensuring we bypassed the play-off round, and moved directly in the Round of 16.

We’re hunting our second trophy after Pep Guardiola guided us to success in 2023.

When is the draw?

The draw will be held at the UEFA House of Football in Nyon at 11:00 (UK) on Friday 27 February.

We’ll provide news of who City will face as soon as it happens on mancity.com and our official app.

Who can City face?

Due to the structure of the draw, we know it will be one of Benfica, Bodo/Glimt, Inter or Real Madrid in the Round of 16.

Benfica and Real Madrid are midway through their two-legged play-off, with the Spanish side 1-0 up.

Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt won the first leg against Inter 3-1 in the Arctic Circle.

Both ties will be completed in the week before the draw.

The draw will also signal our potential opponents all the way to this year’s final, so we’ll cover who City could play in the quarter-final and semi-final too.
