Manchester City will play Lyon in the quarter-finals of this season’s Champions League.

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Real Madrid 2-1 at the Etihad in the second leg of our last 16 to complete a 4-2 aggregate victory.

And Lyon went through on away goals after losing 2-1 in Turin but drawing 2-2 on aggregate. 

That game will take place on Saturday 15 August at 8pm UK time. 

For the first time in the competition’s history, the winner will now be decided at a tournament, held in Portugal over 11 days, with one-legged quarter-final and semi-final matches before a final at the Estadio da Luz.
