City also boast the joint-best defensive record so far in the English top flight, conceding just three times en route to five successive clean sheets before that 2-2 draw at Anfield.
League form aside, we also kicked-off our defence of the Carabao Cup in style with a 6-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers, handing senior debuts to several talents from our Elite Development Squad.
On a continental front, Pep Guardiola celebrated his 300th match in charge of the Club in style with a 6-3 victory at home to RB Leipzig in the Champions League before we were edged out away to a Lionel Messi-inspired Paris Saint-Germain on Matchday Two in Group A.
