The Blues are a point clear at the top of the table following our 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.
But the Magpies have made a strong start to the campaign too, winning both of their home matches so far this season ahead of the game, which kicks off at 12:30 (UK).
So Pep Guardiola was getting his players ready ahead of the journey to the north east.
Among them was Erling Haaland who has 10 goals already this season but was not in the squad for our Carabao Cup victory over Watford on Tuesday.
