John Stones struck a 98th minute goal to earn City a valuable 2-2 Premier League draw against 10-man Arsenal in a pulsating encounter.

It was an electric start at the Etihad, with Haaland stroking in his 100th City goal after just nine minutes, reaching ten goals in the Premier League this season in the process.

The Gunners struck back 13 minutes later through a stunning Riccardo Calafiori strike which nestled into the top right corner beyond the sprawling Ederson.

With the clock in stoppage time, the visitors took the lead, with Gabriel connecting with Bukayo Saka’s curling corner to head in.

An action-packed half then threw up another twist as Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard was sent off for a second bookable offence as he blasted the ball away following his foul on Bernardo Silva.

It was an attacking City barrage after the interval, with every player on the pitch apart from Ederson camped around the Arsenal box, with David Raya forced into some expert reflex saves.

Deep into stoppage time, the persistence paid off, with Stones striking in on the rebound after Mateo Kovacic‘s deflected shot fell into his path, sparking bedlam at the Etihad.
