RECORD BREAKERS
Our win at home set another Premier League record that the Club can add to our honours page.
The 2-1 win over Brighton was our 21st consecutive home victory across all competitions – more than any other English team in the Premier League era.
During that run, which began in January with our 4-0 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup, City have scored an incredible 64 goals and conceded only 10.
RODRIGOS RETURN
Following the conclusion of his suspension, Rodrigo returned to our Premier League matchday squad and it was a pleasant sight to see him back in sky blue.
The Spanish international returned in style and dominated the middle of the pitch.
The 27-year-old totalled 88 passes with a 93% pass completion rate – the highest success rate of any City player who tallied more than 50 passes.
Rodrigo also had the highest number of touches in the squad, with 97, dictating play regularly in our win over Brighton.
BESTING BRIGHTON
Perhaps the odds were always stacked against Brighton when we welcomed them to Manchester.
The 2-1 defeat on Saturday extended the Seagull’s inability to win at the Etihad, tallying 10 consecutive losses in a row with an aggregate score of 26-4.

DYNAMIC DOKU
A performance that deserved a man-of-the-match trophy. Pep Guardiola deployed Jeremy Doku on his favoured left side and caused former City defender James Milner a handful of issues.
His pace and ability to use both feet were prevalent throughout his 75 minutes and his tenacity paid off.
After just seven minutes the Belgium international was able to tee up Julian Alvarez effortlessly to give City the lead and earn his first Premier League assist of his career.
