Erling Haaland's stoppage time penalty for ten-man City secured a stunning 2-1 Premier League victory over Fulham.

Pep Guardiola‘s side made a quick start in the pouring Manchester rain and took the lead after 16 minutes.

Ilkay Gundogan played Julian Alvarez through on goal and the Argentine’s thunderous strike bounced into the net off the crossbar.

The game then swung in favour of the visitors just before the half-hour mark as Joao Cancelo was shown a straight red card for bringing down Harry Wilson inside the box, before Andreas Pereira stepped up and converted the spot-kick coolly.

Haaland made his return from injury in the second half and thought he had the winner with 15 minutes remaining, but his superb header was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
