City made a flying start at the Etihad Stadium, taking the lead in the fifth minute when John Stones‘ sweet, left-footed strike flew past a helpless Daniel Iversen.
A handball from Wilfred Ndidi gave us the chance to double our lead from the spot, and Erling Haaland made no mistake, stroking the ball into the bottom corner to double the lead.
The Norweigan striker then added to his phenomenal goal-tally, bursting away from the defender as City countered, and produced a composed finish, lifting the ball over Iversen for his 47th goal of the season across all competitions.
Kelechi Iheanacho pulled a goal back for the Foxes, tapping home from close range from a corner, but it proved to be a mere consolation as Pep’s ranks deservedly won the three points.
