Team news
Pep Guardiola revealed yesterday in his pre-match press conference that Kevin De Bruyne faces a late fitness test for today’s game.
The Catalan also said that Ilkay Gundogan is fit to play against the Canaries, though, Phil Foden is several weeks away from playing.
“Kevin could not train today,” said Pep.
“We’ll see how he feels tomorrow. Gundo is fit to play.
“Phil Foden will be ready after the break.”
Kyle Walker and John Stones didn’t take part against Spurs having just returned to training a few days before, but both will join Raheem Sterling in being available to start against the Canaries.
Asked on the progress of Stones and Walker, Pep added: “Every week, every day the players are better. Definitely.”

Son Heung-Min’s 55th minute strike proved the difference in a hard-fought game in North London.
There were plenty of positives to take from the game for City, with Jack Grealish making an assured Premier League debut and Kevin De Bruyne also making a late appearance from the bench after recovering from injury.
LAST MEETING
Manchester City ran out 5-0 winners the last time we met Norwich back in July 2020 in our last Premier League match of the 2019/2020 season.
Norwich’s Onel Hernandez had a goal disallowed in the early stages, before Gabriel Jesus bundled in City’s first of the afternoon just three minutes later.
Kevin De Bruyne then doubled our advantage just before half-time with a delicious curling strike from outside the area which nestled in the top right corner.
Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez added to our tally before De Bruyne made it five late on with another curling strike.
De Bruyne’s assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal also saw the Belgian equal Thierry Henry’s record of 20 assists for a single Premier League campaign.
