Shortly after the half-hour mark, the visitors hit a warning shot through Toni Kroos, but his arrowed drive from long-range was superbly diverted onto the crossbar by Ederson.
Bernardo doubled the lead before the interval, expertly heading into the corner after the ball deflected kindly into his path.
Shortly after the interval, Ederson was called into action again, this time from a ferocious David Alaba free-kick which was tipped over the bar.

With just under 15 minutes remaining, we added our third under the floodlights, with Manuel Akanji‘s flicked header deflecting off Eder Militao and into the net.
