In November, we asked you to nominate your fellow Cityzens and City-loving friends or family who you felt deserved an unforgettable treat this Christmas.
Incredibly, almost 2,500 Cityzens sent in their nominations for this annual tradition, making 2023 the biggest year for the campaign so far.
And 14-year-old Harry Taylor was chosen for an unforgettable festive surprise, witnessing the Big Five just hours after City completed the set with our FIFA Club World Cup triumph in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In December 2022, Harry was rushed to Manchester Children’s Hospital for emergency bowel surgery.
After multiple surgeries and complications, including a week on a ventilator in an Intensivie Care Unit, he spent a total of six months at the hospital before being discharged.
Thankfully, Harry is now back at school and continuing his recovery, with support from his family including big brother, Joe.
It’s been a difficult year for the 14-year-old, so the Club were keen to ensure it finished in the best possible fashion.
With this in mind, our five trophies paid a surprise visit to Harry and his family as part of our ‘Greatest Season’ campaign.
Other fans from the many nominations were also sent surprises and special City gifts through December.
