Ten-man City produced a performance full of grit, determination and discipline to keep our unbeaten Group G record intact with a 0-0 draw with FC Copenhagen.

Pep Guardiola‘s side found the net early on through Rodri’s thunderous strike, but after a lengthy VAR review, the goal was disallowed for a Riyad Mahrez handball in the build up.

Shortly before the half-hour mark, it was Mahrez who was presented a golden chance to give City the lead from the penalty spot, but the Algerian’s spot-kick was well saved by Kamil Grabara.

Shortly later, things went from bad to worse as Sergio Gomez was shown a straight red card after being judged to have denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

We remained dominant in possession and created some chances in the second half, with a Julian Alvarez header going just over and Joao Cancelo’s long-range strike being turned around the post smartly by Grabara.
