Going into the final weekend of the 2019/20 domestic season, the Manchester City goalkeeper finds himself in a duel with Burnley counterpart Nick Pope to claim the prestigious award.
Each year the Golden Glove, presented by Cadbury, is awarded to the goalkeeper who keeps the highest number of clean sheets over the course of the Premier League season.
Ederson, who narrowly missed out on the prize last term, has enjoyed another stellar season for Pep Guardiola‘s side and has figured in 34 of our 37 league games to date.

With the Brazilian having secured another shut-out in our impressive 4-0 win away at Watford on Tuesday, it means Ederson has taken his number of clean sheets for the season to 15.
Meanwhile, Burnley and England ‘keeper Pope has also been in impressive form this campaign, with the Clarets keeper also on 15 shut-outs so far.
It means the battle to claim the Golden Glove will go to the final day of the season with City - who are assured of a second place finish in the Premier League - playing host to relegated Norwich whilst Sean Dyche’s Burnley entertain Brighton at Turf Moor.
If Ederson ends the season with the same number of clean sheets as his English rival then the pair will share the prestigious award.
