Ederson has been named in Brazil's 26-man World Cup squad.

One of a dozen Premier League-based players, City’s No.1 will compete with Liverpool’s Alisson Becker and Weverton da Silva of Palmeiras for a starting spot.

Though Ederson has made 259 appearances in six seasons with the Blues, he has only won 18 caps for his country.

Also included for the Seleção is former City favourite Gabriel Jesus.

Brazil, coached by Tite, will be looking to win their sixth World Cup in Qatar this winter.
