Three City players have been named in the England squad for their upcoming friendlies with Brazil and Belgium.

Phil Foden, John Stones and Kyle Walker have all been selected by Gareth Southgate.

Jack Grealish is unavailable due to a muscle injury picked up in our Champions League trip to FC Copenhagen last month.

England begin the international break with the visit of Brazil on Saturday 23 March before Belgium come to Wembley on 26 March.

Ederson is part of the Brazil squad that England will face while Jeremy Doku is in the Belgium setup.

Elsewhere, Erling Haaland and Oscar Bobb will be up for selection for Norway against Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Manuel Akanji is in Switzerland’s squad to play Denmark and Ireland.

Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic will be involved in Croatia’s matches with Tunisia and then Egypt or New Zealand.

Julian Alvarez will fly to the United States to play Costa Rica and El Salvador with his native Argentina.

At the time of writing, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain squads have not yet been announced.
