Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Rico Lewis, John Stones and Kyle Walker have been included in England's squad for the upcoming international break.

Interim manager Lee Carsley has selected the City quintet for a home match with Greece on Thursday 10 October and trip to Finland on Sunday 13 October.

The games are the Three Lions’ latest challenges in the current UEFA Nations League campaign.

England have six points from their opening two matches after wins against Republic of Ireland and Finland last month.

Foden returns to the fold after missing the last international window due to his late return to City training following  England’s run to the Euro 2024 final in the summer.

Grealish has enjoyed a fine start to the season, playing eight times for City already and having a key role in England’s wins in September.

Lewis keeps his place after earning his second cap in September. Our 19-year-old Academy graduate has proven his versatility by playing at right-back, left-back and in midfield during his nine City appearances so far in this term.

Stones played in both games for England in the last window and has been a part of four victories and a draw for Pep Guardiola‘s City this term.

Club captain Kyle Walker was left out of last month’s squad after a busy summer with England but returns on the back of three successive starts in the Premier League.

They join several City players already in their national squads for the upcoming break.

Ederson and Savinho have been selected by Brazil while Erling Haaland is in line to face Slovenia and Austria with his native Norway.

Belgium, Croatia, Portugal and Switzerland are all set to announce their squads in the coming days, with City players likely to feature.

As always, we’ll have a report of every international match anywhere in the world featuring our players on mancity.com and our official app.
