“It’s the transfer window with four or five days to go and anything can happen,” the City boss said at his pre-match news conference.
“We will see. For me it is complicated to think about transfer window when we have a game in 24 hours. I am focused on the game.
“Palace away is always complicated. It’s a complicated pitch, good team – a new manager arrived.
“You can see from preseason and their first game what they want to do - it’s quite clear.
“It’s similar to Oliver [Glasner], their former manager. No doubt it will be a tough game.”

Maresca confirmed that Jérémy Doku will be unavailable for the clash while he said that Matheus Nunes is not 100%.
New signing Ayyoub Bouaddi will be available along with Elliot Anderson, who only suffered cramp in the 2-1 win over the Cherries.
Rayan Cherki came off the bench to claim both assists for Marc Guéhi and Joško Gvardiol’s winner and the Italian says he is excited about what he offers to the City attack.
“Rayan made an impact the other day,” he added. “For sure he is one of the players in terms of quality he is different to the rest.
“Because he can give us quality in the last third when we struggle.
“If the opponent play one way or the other, no doubt he can help now and in the future. I am very happy with the way he is working.”
Meanwhile, Guéhi will return to Selhurst Park for the first time since leaving the Eagles and has given Maresca another option after impressing in a holding midfield role against Bournemouth.
Talking about his possible selection, the boss said: “We will see. He is an option.
“The good thing about Marc is he gives us one more option in the middle if we need it. We have a session in a few hours and then we will decide.”
